This set of two Wedgwood blue jasperware plate was produced to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, marking fifty years of her reign from 1952–2002. Understated and timeless, these plates honor a historic milestone through Wedgwood’s signature neoclassical style.

Each plate features a crisp white relief profile of Queen Elizabeth II encircled by a traditional laurel wreath, set against Wedgwood’s classic soft blue jasperware ground. The design is elegant without feeling ornate, making these plates equally well suited for wall display, open shelving, or styling within a cabinet alongside books and collected ceramics.

The reverse of each plate is clearly stamped Wedgwood Made in England and inscribed in gold:
“To commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1952–2002”
firmly dating this set to 2002.

The plates are in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, or wear noted. The reliefs remain sharp, the color even and unfaded, and the surfaces beautifully preserved. Offered together as a matching pair, they create a balanced and cohesive display with lasting decorative and historical appeal.
