Vintage Mason’s “Plantation Colonial” Square Bowl Set (Set of 4)
This set of four vintage Mason’s Ironstone bowls features the classic Plantation Colonial pattern, made in England for Carl Forslund of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Known for its rich blue florals with touches of yellow and green, this pattern is a long-standing favorite for its traditional English look and everyday usefulness.
The softly squared shape adds interest and makes these bowls especially versatile for serving, prep, or display. Three bowls are in good vintage condition, while one bowl shows more noticeable discoloration and wear, reflected in the set pricing. Overall crazing, light staining, and surface wear are consistent with age and use, and add to their authentic, well-loved character.
Because this pattern was produced in higher volume and these bowls show honest wear, this set is priced intentionally to move, making it an approachable way to add classic English ironstone to a kitchen or open shelving vignette.
